Ivy Care Homes Mission Statement

Since 2000, Ivy Care Homes has been conducting our services providing excellent care to those with learning disabilities. The facility is a registered service to support adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. We pride ourselves in over 10 years’ experience of delivering specialized care services to the community in Yorkshire through our homes. We accept applications for individuals as described who may also have additional health needs including Epilepsy, Diabetes, mental health issues, and communication difficulties. All services are staffed 24 hours with highly trained, skilled and committed staff teams offering their care within our organization. We address different needs in a unique manner. Our services are tailor-made to suit the needs of every people within our care. Our highly reliable team takes the time to carefully evaluate the needs of each person and come up with measures on how to best address them.

Some of the common defects that we always organize special training for include;

  • Autism spectrum disorder: Affects behavior and communication. May have difficulty interacting or reacting with the environments or other individuals.
  • Asperger’s Syndrome: This disorder affects the ability to effectively communicate and socialize
  • Prader-Willi Syndrome: A genetic disorder that may lead to shortness, intellectual disability, and obesity. The defect cannot be cured but the right treatments can be administered to help. The disorder is always a result of disappearance or deletion of a particular part of the chromosome
  • Visual Communications: This disorder is assisted by the transmission of ideas and information using imagery and symbols which has been so effective in helping individuals suffering from defects related to the visual communications.

24-hour Services

Our staff, including the customer support team work round the clock to provide satisfactory services to every person.

All staff partakes in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (N.C.I.T). This training equips our staff in finding solutions to violent behavior, anxious and hostile without any problem. We are of the best companies in the sector that provides adequate and satisfactory services.
